Presented by the Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association. August 24th & 25th, this is a horse show that showcases Dressage, Hunter Jumper, and Jumper Disciplines from our local community here in Essex County.
What a weekend it was! SCS was awarded Top Barn for 2018 and brought home 4 Champions, 4 Reserve Champions, top pins in many divisions and every single Sand Cherry Rider was in the ribbons from our Junior (Lead Liners) and Senior riding teams. We are extremely proud of both our coaches and young riders for their dedication as young equestrians, encouragement to one another and the level of sportsmanship they promote!
Riders from our Senior Show Team under Coach Heather DaSilva log many, many hours both in and out of the saddle, especially in the summer months, as barn assistants-in training, preparing for show circuits, off property opportunities, clinics and local events like Strides. We were so very proud to see so many individual accomplishments at this year's Strides Show with so many young horses and young riders! Hard work pays off!
Riders from our Junior (Lead Liners) team under Coach Courtney Bear also came out proving themselves to be young equestrians in the making! We are so proud of these littles and are very excited to continue to watch them grow (literally!)! Well done little ladies!
